I actually make a **little** extra money, not counting this site, from the internet! Also got some nice little “freebies” too. Legally!!

Now how many of you use Amazon? Probably quite a few! I have to be honest and say I don’t use Amazon often. Not really. I have purchased from them in the past though and really like window shopping. I just don’t have a ton of cash and it doesn’t help that I love instant gratification! lol
I have been using Amazon in a different way though and I get a little pocket money from it. It’s called Amazon Mechanical Turk, a place where anyone over 18 can make a little money doing mostly inane little online “jobs”. When you sign up for mturk you can then work on human intelligence tasks otherwise known as HITS. HITS are mostly little jobs like going to a link and signing up for a newsletter using the e-mail addy and other info given by the person who wants the job done, or looking up info. online, or trying a new FireFox add-on, ect. Each HIT has a payment amount posted to it, the # of HITS you can work on in the same group and the amount of time you have to complete it to get paid. Once you complete a HIT it goes into your account as pending until it is accepted then your money is put directly into your account. You can access your account anytime and have the money deposited into your bank account if you’ve added the info OR you can have it put into a Amazon card and use it on Amazon.com.
Pretty cool! Now you will not get rich doing these. Most HITS pay anywhere from .01 cent to $5.00, I have seen a few that pay more. Yep the pay is LOW but they are soo easy to work on! If you find yourself wasting time online do a few HITS or do them while your waiting on something else, etc…and soon you’ll have a bit of pocket money. I earned $18.75 in probably about 4 hours over 3 days. Now I’m trying to decide if I want to get it into my account to help fund my template obsession (soon I will have a new site design up!!) or if I’ll keep doing HITS off and on and save up the funds for Christmas money
So from pocket change to software and beyond! I got my web hosting with Lunarpages, AND got my AVG 8.5 full anti virus and firewall by using TrialPay. TrialPay is GREAT! It is NOT a scam! I did my homework on them over a year ago before using them the first time. I used them and it works! I got 1 year of hosting for about $6, I got my AVG for $0. With TrialPay what you do is sign up and complete a offer and there ya go! Whatever software or service you wanted that is advertising through them you’ll get! Some of the offers are totally and completely free and some require a small amount for postage. Just depends on what offer you do. For instance just today my AVG ran out. I can not and will not be online without protection and I’d rather get the full version than a free one. I have NO money at all either till next week sooo…I looked for a TrialPay offer for my software. Found it! I completed a offer from eMusic. I got a 7 day free trial of their service after which if I didn’t cancel I’d be charged. I signed up using my PayPal account, got the free trial, completed the offer and within a half hour had my registration key for another year of anti-virus protection from AVG. This site I found has a HUGE list of 400 software and services that are currently running TrialPay promos. The updated list is in a PDF file. If you’ve always wanted ACDSee you’re in luck! Do a offer, get ACDSee!! Check it out! There are soo many things to choose from. Just be careful to do the offer through the product’s TrialPay link AND to make sure if there’s a trial period or something to be sure and cancel before the end! Unless of course you do want to keep the service.
So that’s two ways to save a little or a lot on the internet without a lot of money. I’ll be posting these more often if and when I come across something that is legit Hope you can earn a little and maybe get a service or product you’ve been wanting but couldn’t afford.
