Hi! I’m Martha, mom of three beautiful kids, married and life long Kentuckian! For as long as I can remember I’ve been artistic. As a kid I drew, painted, did ceramics, needlepoint of all kinds, well anything crafty! I used to enter my art in the county fair and even won some blue ribbons!

Artistic pursuits kind of fell by the wayside when I grew up. A job, marriage, life kind of pushed all that away for awhile. I never lost my love for creativity though. One day while expecting my third child I was surfing around for creative ways showcase my photos of them and I found it! My outlet! It was digital scrap-booking! That was six years ago and it has been good to me!

I was forever looking into new ways to graphically enhance my photos, design using my computer and my “style” was called eclectic! I tried never to get the same look twice!

I eventually became well known in the digital scrap-booking circles, was published several times in national scrap-booking magazines as well as in online e-zines. I began to feel something was missing. That I needed to actually do more and develop my natural talent with drawing freehand. In comes line art as well as vexel art! I finally found something that was unique enough, that I could do with my hands!

I started this site from the desire to create something unique. Something that stood out! As a little way to help not only myself but my family. The eclectic in my site’s name comes from my “style” and Red from mine and my son’s hair color! eclecticRed!
